This pipe bears Teddy's Eagle stamp. The pipe is made from Corsican briar that Teddy hand picked and imported himself. This pipe is one of the finest examples of Teddy letting the briar dictate the shape of the pipe. The briar did speak and told Teddy exactly what it wanted to be ... this pipe!! Examining this pipe closely shows that there could not have been any other shape to come out of this block than this pipe. It is so well balanced, well proportioned and the grain is so perfect. Note how the bird's eye is perfectly positioned on the very bottom of the bowl. The bowl rim is covered with extremely tight and beautifully patterned bird's eye as well. The stem is hand cut from solid ebonite rod and is a work of art itself. This pipe weighs 2 1/4 ounces.
