CLAY
PIPES
|
John
Pollock & Company of Manchester, England began making clay
pipes back in 1879 and continued until Gordon Pollock's retirement
in 1992. Not wanting to see such a classic tobacco art form
end, Wilsons & Company purchased the molds and the Pollock
name and continued the legendary art of clay pipe making. Many
of the original hand pressed molds are still in use today. Clay
pipes are not only great collectibles but will also allow any
pipe connoisseur the purest taste of tobacco flavor.

As
mentioned in a previously Newsletter, John Pollock & Company
of Manchester England are no more. Production has ceased. This marks
the sad end of a 130 year old tradition. The pipes below are the
last in stock.
Fortunately
we have a new arrangement with a new maker. Granted, the pipes will
be replicas but I quality is very high and we'll be proud to offer
them to you. They will be on the site in about 2 weeks.
